Major David Wilkinson, who received a special message from the Queen in February to celebrate his 105th birthday, has died and his funeral service will be in St Mary’s Church next Wednesday, May 31, at 2pm. He lived in Church Square, had a long career in the army, and was a life member of the golf club. Source: St Mary’s church notices.
