A festive floral demonstration will take place on Saturday December 2 at Appledore Village Hall, writes Donna Clifton. Sophie Beanie, member of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies, will demonstrate festive table decorations and centre pieces from 9:30-11am (doors open 9am). Tickets are available in advance Tel: 01223 768256, £10 including refreshments.

Christmas stalls follow from 11:30am to 1pm selling gifts, cakes, cards, hand-knits and more.  Admission is free and refreshments are available, all proceeds to Appledore parish church.
