Authors vying for East Sussex Children’s Book Award, organised by the county council’s Schools Library and Museum Service, will be visiting schools across the county in a bid to win all important votes. On Tuesday March 17 they will talk to pupils at Guestling Bradshaw, Bodiam and Broad Oak.

The winner of the award, decided by children from 49 schools across East Sussex and Brighton and Hove, will be announced at a ceremony on June 18. Among the authors are Rob Lloyd Jones, Simon Rae and Ellie Irving. [Source: East Sussex County Council]
