The East Street gallery and shop Ethel Loves Me hosted a launch party for its new exhibitor Fred Masters on November 3. The new show runs until November 16 and features oils and acrylic paintings from the figurative to the abstract.
The shop has featured several exhibitions since it opened but going forward it is likely to feature a variety of different artists at a time rather than focus on a single individual. Ethel Loves Me is the brainchild of local residents Jo Dorey, Matt Forbes-Dale and Jason Dorey and also stocks a range of eclectic and creative gifts, including some familiar to those who knew its predecessor, Four Doors.
