March seems perhaps a long way off but it is worth putting the dates of the 2018 Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition (HIPCC) into your diary. Apart from the semi final and the final itself there are daily sessions at reasonable prices. The competition takes place at the White Rock theatre on the sea front at Hastings and tickets can be booked online or by telephone 01424 462 288. Day tickets are £15; each session is £4. Timings are to be confirmed.
- Stage 1 list: February 22/23/24 – morning, afternoon and evening
- Stage 2 list: February 26/27 – morning, afternoon, evening
- Semi final: February 28 – morning, afternoon, evening
- Final: March 2 and March 3 – Six concerti with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
