Bridge of Spies (2015 – 142 minutes)  During the Cold War, an American lawyer (Tom Hanks) is recruited to defend Rudolf Abel (Mark Rylance), a Soviet spy, arrested in America. He is also asked to help the CIA facilitate an exchange of Abel for Gary Powers, the pilot of the American U2 spy plane shot down over Russia in 1962. A very well made film with a strong cast, directed by Stephen Spielberg and co-written by the Coen brothers. (7pm start, doors 6.30pm)
