Rye Art Gallery in the High Street has a new exhibition by Romney Tweed, showcasing products from raw wool right through to the yarn and finished tweeds.

Showing the colour similarity of cloth and buildings

Julian Day, trustee and director of collections at the gallery organised the collaboration with Romney Tweed Community Interest Company (CIC) to show how art and textiles can be combined and can draw inspiration from the landscape of the marshes through to the beaches of Dungeness. Romney Tweed has brought new economic life into the region.

The exhibition is in the Stormont Studio Gallery 6 upstairs and runs to March 24.
