Spring in Hole Park

Saturday, April 29 was my first experience of seeing several meadows of bluebells which looked magnificent. Only 30 minutes from Rye, Hole Park in Rolvenden is a private estate which has been in the Barham family for over 100 years.

The woods were full of bluebells and the gardens we were allowed to walk through had wild flowers and shrubs making a wonderful display of colour.

Beautiful groomed garden

The views were stunning, the whole estate, including a vineyard and small swimming pool, spanned over 200 acres.

The estate is well worth a visit, especially now, to wander through the woods, secret garden and other areas.
