Crib league resumes

Rye Crib & District Two crib league resumes after the festive break. The Pipemakers Arms, Rye who have played eight matches, are top with 12 points and Rye Harbour Social Club and the Old King John are both in contention for second place on nine points each in the A division.
In division B The Owl, Camber, and Rose & Crown, Beckley, share top spot with 10 points apiece, while very much in contention but with two matches in hand over the top two is Rolvenden Club.
The 16 teams that make up the two leagues play on a Tuesday evening, with four players in a team and in each match they play four single games and two pairs games.
