Dreams of chocolate are realised

Two young women, a mother and a teacher, became friends and decided to take a chance on starting a business in Rye. Paulina Filar and Justyna Bogun had a few ideas but decided on a chocolate shop. They found a shop just the right size at the end of the High Street, number 110, and opened on April 16.

They said it was a busy time setting up but well worth it, as tourists and locals kept them on the run from the beginning, loving the choices of chocolate on offer. They have organic and artisan chocolate and all is hand made. The shop has a nice atmosphere, it is the only one in Rye and looking at their Facebook page, people seem to appreciate it and have left very positive feedback.

Let’s all support it so it thrives.

  1. I have tried many of their chocolates: all are extremely ‘moreish’. Also, I can personally recommend the Butterscotch Bar. Every purchase comes tastefully beribboned and packed. Good luck with your enterprise Paulina and Justyna.
