Ferry Road nursery in Rye is holding their annual Duck Race this coming Saturday September 16. Ducks can be bought from the Nursery before the race begins at 12pm on Ferry Road Bridge. The Deputy Mayor of Rye and the Town Crier will start the race and afterwards there are many events happening back at the nursery site including a barbecue, raffle, tombola, face painting, cake stall, bouncy castle, hook a duck and much more, writes Kirsty Doherty.
