Colour the Coast
The hugely popular colour run “Colour the Coast”, organised by St Michael’s Hospice, will be returning on Sunday August 13 and will be even bigger and brighter than ever.
The 5k fun run will be taking place in Alexandra Park, Hastings. During the run, participants will pass through colour zones, where the Cheery Chuckers will shower them in different colours of a special 100 per cent safe powder.
Tickets will be available online from Monday April 3 and are guaranteed to sell out quickly. Keep an eye on the Hospice website (www.stmichaelshospice.com) and Facebook page (www.facebook.com/stmichaelshospice) for updates and ticket sales.
This event is kindly sponsored by Trade Paints.
Make a Will
Make a Will month is a simple way to make your will while supporting St Michael’s Hospice. Five well-respected local solicitors across Hastings and Rother have signed up to support Make a Will month. Have your will written for free* (*basic will writing only. Prices for a more complex will are available on discussion) and you will be invited to make a voluntary donation to St Michael’s Hospice. Appointments will take place from April, so please book in advance to avoid disappointment. Visit St Michael’s Hospice website for a list of participating solicitors.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of St Michael’s Hospice, they are inviting all supporters to free celebratory teas, which are taking place in six locations throughout Hastings and Rother. On Sunday June 18, a Celebratory Tea is taking place at Rye Community Centre, with a choice of two sittings at 2pm and 4:30pm.
The events are completely free, with thanks to the Big Lottery Fund. There will be afternoon tea and live music for all to enjoy. Spaces are limited, so early booking is essential to avoid disappointment. Bookings can be made at www.stmichaelshospice.com/teas
