Following a recent skills audit, Rye Art Gallery has identified a need for additional hands-on support for its trustees, in addition to the present team comprising Trevor Llanwarne, Kate Van Der Pump, Susy Benn and Julian Day.
We are looking for two people with one or more of the following attributes:
• a practising artist
• a designer with expertise in graphics, media and communications
• a generalist person experienced in administrative duties who can help devise and implement policies on issues such as HR, health and safety, fire security procedures, Arts Council etc.
Our criteria for Board appointments is to bring together an enthusiastic, diverse group of committed, forward thinking individuals to work together as a creative team, alongside staff and volunteers to deliver the Gallery’s charitable objectives. After much hard work already this year we are on track to have the essential improving finances to give us the platform to expand our charitable activities.
