The Whitehouse, 24, High Street, Rye, launches a new Thursday night cookout celebrating global cuisine at £10 per main course.
During the summer holiday season the Whitehouse kitchen will be serving up dishes from around the world for the princely sum of £10 for one course or £13.50 for two. Chefs and owners Rosie Bates and Becky Colebrook will be demonstrating their culinary skills and enthusiasm for all sorts of delicious foods, cooked and served in the Whitehouse garden. Each week will feature food from a different country and the menu for al fresco diners will include an Asian stir fry, American cheese cake, Jamaican jerk chicken, ‘ridiculous’ Mexican chocolate pudding, Japanese Ramen and Greek yoghurt sundaes.
The ‘endless summer’ of mouth-watering plates kicks off on Thursday August 2 with Spanish paella, and ends on Thursday September 6 with classic American hot dogs smothered in beef chilli sauce with cheese, onion and slaw.
The garden seats 20 and it’s first-come first-served. Details of each Thursday’s cookout can be found at here. So pop in, chill out and enjoy some mouth watering grub.
