The first of what is hopefully a regular weekly farmers’ market took place at the Globe, last Easter Saturday. Despite difficult weather, the market appeared to be a great success with many visitors, especially locals. The mega muffins, which included pork belly, sausage, bacon, egg and red onion jam seemed to be going down well.

Stalls included Lazy Baker, Richard Hutley, smoked salmon, flowers, preserves and pickles and vegetable baskets.

The market will run every Saturday 9am-2pm.
