Sussex Police has donated £200 to Rye’s Activities Respite Rehabilition Care Centre (ARRCC) to fund  internal redecoration of its visitors’ lounge. The money comes from the Police Property Act Fund – property confiscated by order of a court and then sold. PC Alison Puddefoot, Sussex Police’s disability engagement officer in the Rother district, said: “It’s really great to hear that so many will benefit from this donation and I am looking forward to seeing the improvements once the work is done.” [Source: Sussex Police]
