This Sunday, June 16, is Sussex Day and the Town can once again be relied upon not to let the day pass unnoticed.

The Ryebellion Drummers will performing a celebratory drumming outside the Town Hall from about 11:30am, then at midday the Town Crier, Paul Goring, will be proclaiming the Sussex Charter from the steps of the Town Hall, followed by Three Cheers for Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Ryebellion and the Town Crier will then march down the High Street to the junction outside The Old Borough Arms, where the Charter will be read again.
