Details for entry and sponsorship forms are now available for Rye and Winchelsea Rotary Club’s 18th annual walk on Sunday May 22. The walk starts from Phillips & Stubbs, Cinque Ports Street and people will set off between 9 and 10am. The walks available range between 6 and 10 miles. Entry forms can be picked up from Phillips & Stubbs or email ryerotary@hotmail.co.uk for more information.

The walk goes along the banks of the River Rother to Scotts Float then crosses Military Road up the slope and through fields and bluebell woods to Iden. Refreshments will be available at the recreation ground. The long walk then goes through orchards to the site of Iden Manor before rejoining the shorter walk on the way to Bowlers Town, Leasam and back to Rye.

We are raising funds for Rye Winchelsea & District Hospital and St Michael’s Hospice. Walkers may pledge half 0f their sponsorship to their own good cause.

We look forward to seeing you!
