The 2nd football team of Icklesham Casuals went down 3-1 at home to a strong Robertsbridge United II side on Saturday.

Having lost the toss and playing into a freezing gale in the first half the Casuals found themselves 3-0 down early on. With several players coming back from injury it took them a while to get the pace of the game but, after 30 minutes, the team began to play and won a series of free-kicks, with Jon Fitton burying one of these to reduce the arrears.

After the introduction of Joe Fraser and Blue Willoughby at the break the Casuals dominated, but found creating chances hard and there was no further scoring.

The 1st team were without a match this week.
