Cricketers hold annual meeting

Rye Cricket Club is holding its annual general meeting on Sunday January 27 at 7pm in the Sidney Allnutt Pavilion. The meeting will reflect on the successes of the 2018 season, and confirm the plans for the 2019 season. All members are welcome, and those who might wish to get involved with Rye Cricket Club.

The club is running free taster cricket sessions, at Rye Sports Centre, for primary-age boys and girls on Wednesdays January 30, February 6  and February 13 from 5pm-6pm. There are 30 spaces, which are filling up fast.

The winter coaching programme starts on February 20 at Rye Sports Centre.

5pm-6pm Primary
6pm-7pm Under 13
7pm-8pm Under 15

The club’s signing-on night is on Friday, April 26 at 7pm with the summer coaching programme:

Secondary age, Wednesday, May 1 at 6pm
Primary age, Friday, May 3 at 6pm

In 2019 Rye Cricket Club will be offering cricket to boys and girls aged 5-18, with teams playing at U9 / U11 / U13 / U15 / U18. For more details and to get involved please contact Martin Blincow at blincsfamily@aol.com or on 07535 482006.
