Juniors begin summer season

Rye Cricket Club held its Signing On night last Friday evening, April 27. Plenty of members signed up, and they witnessed the presentation, by Clare Lands of NatWest Bank, of a cheque for £250 to Club Secretary Martin Blincow, to recognise Rye Cricket Club’s involvement in the Natwest CricketForce Day in April. The funds will be used to support the running of the Rye Junior Section.

Coaching for the Juniors has begun. Sessions will be held on Wednesday nights from 6pm-7pm for under 11/13 and 7pm-8pm for under 15/18, with adult nets from 6pm-8pm. On Friday nights there are sessions for primary-aged and All Stars programme from 6pm-7pm at the Rye Cricket Salts. These sessions are £30 and last for 12 weeks. To get your daughter or son involved please contact Martin Blincow via blincsfamily@aol.com or be at the Rye Cricket Salts on Friday nights at 5:45pm to register.
