Iden travel to Little Common this weekend to play against Ore Athletic forĀ their 2nd cup final of the season in the Hastings Intermediate Cup. The match was originally scheduled to be played on the April 29 but due to floodlight problems at Little Common’s ground it had to be rearranged to this Saturday May 2 with kick-off at 3.00 p.m.

Both clubs needed extra time in the semi finals, with Iden beating Westfield 3-2 and Ore beating Bexhill United 3-1 on penalties after the game finished 2-2. In their previous meeting this season Iden lost at home 3-1 with the away game still to be played on the 9 May.

Iden then travel to the home of Robertsbridge United to face St Leonard’s Social in the Robertsbridge Intermediate Cup on Tuesday 5 May kick off 6:30 p.m.

Both teams comfortably won their Semi finals with Iden winning 2-0 away to Ninfield United whilst Social beat Westfield 3-1 at home. In their previous meetings this season Iden lost 3-0 at home and 3-2 in the away match, but pickedĀ up a 2-1 victory in the Birchwood Group Challenge Cup.

Iden have a tough couple of games with Ore currently 3rd in the league and Social not only top but are also unbeaten in the league.
