Rising soprano star Anna Cavaliero joins renowned pianist Sholto Kynoch to track the seasons through Schubert’s music: beginning in the joys of harvest time, revelling in the swirling autumn leaves, pausing for a reflective winter evening, and finally bursting forth with all the optimism of spring. Schubert’s sublime music can equally be heard in the works for solo piano – including two of his famous ‘impromptus’ – that punctuate the seasons in song.\n
