DESCRIPTION:The E.F.Benson Society is holding an Exhibition in the St Mary’s Centre, Lion Street, Rye, looking at E.F. Benson, creator of the Mapp & Lucia novels, and his life, time in Rye and how Rye influenced him.  This includes items relating to Benson and his time as Mayor. There are Benson books for sale as well as the Society’s publications about E.F.Benson and his family. Admission is free.  The Exhibition is open 10am to 4pm from Tuesday, September 20th until Friday, September 23, Wednesday, 1pm – 4pm.\n
