SUMMARY:An Introduction to Printmaking with Nick Archer
DESCRIPTION:Introduction\nIn partnership with Rye Art gallery and their exhibition ‘The Art of British Printmaking’ I will be running a workshop in the Print Room at Rye Creative Centre – ‘An Introduction to Printmaking (Monoprint and Drypoint Etching)’.\nMonoprint is where you paint onto a smooth printing plate and then print this onto paper creating ‘one off’ prints. Drypoint is where you scratch into a plate using a sharp tool and then print the plate on the press.
