DESCRIPTION:Over two days you will make a traditional woven boat. You can bring a friend or partner to help.\nThe coracles are started with the willow rods stuck in the ground so you will be working outside whatever the weather on the first day at least. On the first day we will complete most of the frame. On the second day you will finish tying the frame and cover it in calico. The calico is then painted with Bitumistic Paint. You will have the option of taking the paint home to do this or painting it and collecting another day when the paint has dried.\nDepending on the weather, there will be an opportunity to have a go in the river in our previously made coracles.\nSecond date is flexible.
