SUMMARY:Pottery taster day at Sarah Cox’s studio on Rye Harbour Road.
DESCRIPTION:Come & join us for a ceramics handbuilding taster day, at my studio on Rye Harbour Road. Explore the many making techniques in clay, a fun filled creative day to make 3-4 pieces/pots/sculptures. The studio has ten 2m workstations, each potter will have their own tools clay and everything they need to create their own master pieces. I will give demonstrations & guide you every step of the way. Your work will be bisq fired, then glazed by myself ready for you to collect. Or you can return to glaze your own work how you like. I supply everything, including drinks & snacks. I’m a professional ceramic artist, who graduated from Central Saint Martins Art School, in 1991. I have been exhibiting & selling ever since, I’m also a member of the Sussex Guild of Designers & Crafts people. Places are limited to 10, I currently have 4 spaces available, by appointment/advance booking only. The total cost for the day, and to have your glazed finished pieces ready to collect is £70. My regular courses run weekly on mon/tues/weds evening, & weds afternoon. I can also offer private lessons, or taster days for groups for birthdays/hen parties/get together.
