DESCRIPTION:Paper marbling is a mesmerising process where abstract patterns are created by dropping liquid paint on a surface of thickened water. At its simplest this creates a delightful arrangement of stone-like shapes, but various tools can also be used to create more intricate patterns.\nIn this half-day workshop, we will learn the first steps to the art of paper marbling. With all the materials already prepared for you beforehand, we will work together through a range of paper marbling techniques, from basic patterns like stones, Italian vein and swirls, through to more complex ones like nonpareil.\n
