Rye's Arts Festival heads into its second exhausting week with a busy line-up this weekend and during the week following. Rye News tries to keep up with reviews, previews and all the news and gossip that's fit to print . . . but without a doubt we will have missed something. Luciaphiles gather round Mermaid
The good, the bad and the beautiful donned their smartest attire, polished their wittiest conversation and moseyed on down to the Mermaid for the annual gathering of the Friends of Tilling. Normal people watched, open mouthed as the elegant gentlemen and and brilliant ladies paraded in their furs, silks and badges of office.
