Rye Memorial Hospital celebrates its centenary with open days this weekend at the Hub on the Hill, Kiln Drive, Rye. On Friday, September 24 from 2pm – 4pm and on Saturday, September 25 from 10am – 4pm, there will be tea, coffee and cakes for all visitors.

A fascinating exhibition about the hospital can be seen on both days plus a film showcasing the hospital’s history. You can read more about this here as reported in Rye News.

This event is open to all. There is no charge but it would be helpful if you could let us know you are coming – fundraising@ryehospital.org.uk.

Then in November, a centenary celebration supper, raffle and auction will be held, also at the Hub on the Hill – details to follow.
