Roll up, roll up! Saturday December 8 sees the fourth Rye Christmas Festival come to town and it’s set to be more bonkers than ever!

From 10:30am until late, throughout the town, witness all the sights, sounds and smells of Christmas, with an extra spectacular twist.

All of the regular faces and features will be there: Father Christmas and his grotto, the reindeer, Mother Christmas, the procession, carol concert at St Mary’s, pantomimes, fair rides, performances and much more, including extra characters and street performers to ensure that the carnival atmosphere is spread throughout town.

Start off the day at Strand Quay at 10:30am to see Father Christmas arrive by boat, grab some grub from one of the specially picked street vendors, pop in for a panto show or listen to street buskers before heading in to warm up at the grotto or one of the many workshops.

Grotto and panto tickets will be on sale in early November from the website. Full timings and details will be released in a soon-to-go-on-sale printed guide so please follow on Facebook for up-to-date information and news releases.
