Events spring back to life

As very little was able to happen during lockdown Rye News stopped publicising events and removed the events button from this page – but it will return, particularly after a Northiam contact asked us about it.

Indeed they had done more. They had sent us details of an event along with a poster (see below) which was sitting in a dusty corner of our computer programme – along with a few, a very few, other events.

One immediate one is The seasons in song,  a concert on May 21 at Rye Creative Centre featuring pianist Sholto Kynoch and soprano Anna Cavaliero from 7:30pm to 8:30pm, tickets £15.

The concert is part of an exciting new programme of events at the Rye Creative Centre (RCC) and more details can be found on their website – and there is another event at RCC on May 28.

Other events in our dusty corner include Northiam’s Garden Safari on May 23 and Rye’s Flower and Veg Show on September 4 – and the events part of Rye News will be up and running again shortly.
