Getting festive for Children In Need

Children from Rye Primary School did their bit for charity last Friday, when donning their glitzy Christmas jumpers in aid of Save The Children Christmas Jumper Day.

Getting just a little wild about wool and giddy for glitter, the whole school of 296 children from the youngest in Pugwash nursery to the oldest in year six, enjoyed wearing their festive favourites.

Covid guidelines discouraged the handling of cash, so voluntary donations online to Save The Children were requested.

Donations online can still be made here: https://www.savethechildren.org.uk/christmas-jumper-day/about
