It’s a Camber Christmas fair

Double the fun this weekend in Camber and East Guldeford this Saturday, November 27, with Christmas fairs and oodles of fun for all ages.

How easy is that to start your Christmas gift buying?

From Rye, head towards Salts Farm shop to Garden Gems from there, turn right to Camber. I am a strong believer in local, produced, and made, and both fairs mean buying local. If no actual produce is local, it is supporting local businesses and makers.

Camber Fayre in the memorial hall, in the centre of the village, is raising funds for Flip-Flops pre-school and the Monday Club, both very good local causes. Saturday, November 27, starts at 11am and runs until 3pm. There will be many splendid raffle prizes with tickets available ahead of the day from Bj’s shop, Camber Castle pub, and the Dunes Bar in Camber. There will be stalls with crafts and homemade cakes, and plenty of activities to entertain the children.

Garden Gems Fayre is on both Saturday, 27 and Sunday 28. Both days from 10am to 4pm and will boast activities for children, including paint their own tree decorations, a colouring competition, face painting, and a free Santa’s grotto, where every child gets a small gift.

There will be craft stalls for your Christmas gifts, and a proper Christmas vibe with carol singing and the smell of pines as you buy your real Christmas tree. Proceeds will go towards the Rye Foodbank.
