Sussex is the latest county to launch the Little Ankle Biters business and community awards and organisers are calling on the people of Sussex to start nominating.

Launched in 2017, Little Ankle Biters is a website operating across six other counties containing trusted reviews on days out, child-friendly pubs and restaurants, party ideas, toddler groups, children’s classes, and what’s on for families in the local area.

The awards honour individuals and organisations who have made an extraordinary impact in their community and are designed to celebrate local businesses and charities that provide an outstanding service to families and carers.

Editor of Little Ankle Biters Sussex, Gina Lee, said; “I am so excited to be launching the first Sussex awards. They are now in their fifth year across other counties and have been incredibly popular with local businesses and families, particularly over the last two years where they have offered some much-needed positivity.

“The Little Ankle Biters awards are nominated and voted for by local people, providing us all with a chance to put a smile on the faces of those who have worked amazingly hard to keep our families safe, happy, and entertained.”

Nominations are now open and close February 4, 2022.

A shortlist will be announced on February 8, when voting has closed, with the award winners being announced in the spring.
