The Mermaid Inn would like to express a sincere thanks to all its local and hotel guests, who have supported its fundraising activities since Boxing Day, through raffles, ghost hunts and guided tours of The Mermaid.
The owner Judith Blincow, personally escorted 18 different groups around The Mermaid. They had the opportunity to explore the secret passageway, the priest hole, the Norman cellars and discover the stories that lie behind 600 years and more of history. The amount raised was £3,205.75 for the National Deaf Children’s Society.
