We would be grateful for any fond testimonials and recollections, to create a compilation in his memory, so please contact Rye News for our contact details if you have something to contribute. Many thanks.

  1. Hi Karen and Valerie, I was so sorry to hear about the death of George a much loved friend from the past. I clearly remember wonderful parties at your place and at mine and much drinking, laughter and joking with Arnold and David. Good old days!
My love to both of you and a very big hug from Jenny

  2. George was a close friend for well over 40 years during which time we never had a cross word or a difference of opinion which could not be respected.

George had a big heart who always found time for everybody. He had no edge to his personality and accepted folk for what they are, even if his values were different.

A modest man who was very supportive and loving towards others, his larger than life character will be sadly missed and fondly remember by all who knew him

God bless you George, I am indeed deeply honoured to considered a friend.
