On Saturday, November 19, the Rye Ukulele Experiment played at St John the Evangelist church in St Leonards. There was a Christmas fair with lots of stalls, selling fun and serious items to raise funds for the Sara Lee Trust. The crowds filed in continuously from 10am onward.

The Sara Lee Trust was set up in memory of Sara Lee who died of cancer at theĀ age 32. It was her vision, as a result of using complementary therapies during her two year battle, that a Trust should be set up providing therapies free of charge to people in Hastings and Rother, who were living through cancer or other life threatening illness. Fifteen years on and the Trust continues to keep that vision alive.

If you would like more information about the Sara Lee Trust phone 01424 272 519 or visit the website.
