Rye’s newest fish retail shop is having an open day.

Following the successful opening of the Rye Fish Market on Simmons Quay last month, the shop is having an open day to celebrate the launch and say thank you to the community for the wonderful support and amazing feedback that the new venture has received.

Fresh from the boats and so much choice.

The fish market is a new and exciting local business set in the heart of our fishing community, driven by locally landed fish – it’s quite a sight to watch the boats return from sea laden with fish, and then see it in the shop just hours later! It really doesn’t get fresher than that.

Fresh fish from Rock Channel Quay.

Expect an afternoon of filleting demonstrations, samples and complementary tasting of some of the finest Rye seafood. There will be experts on hand to answer any questions you may have. Come along and enjoy a drink or two and indulge in some fish-inspired delights created by Danny at Benn’s Catering.

Join the team down on Simmons Quay – everyone’s welcome.
