Taking music to the next stage

One of the worst hit business sectors during the Covid pandemic is the live performance and entertainment industry. Events and gatherings from Lands End to John O’Groats have had to be cancelled or postponed and the knock on effect on related businesses has been devastating. Thankfully, and with social distancing restrictions now having been lifted, live music events, sporting fixtures, theatres, pubs and nightclubs are all able to reopen and rebuild their businesses,

Regrettably, many companies will not reopen, the financial strain having taken it’s toll, others are only able to offer a scaled down version of what they once could but others have been able to ride the storm and are fighting back and bringing back the long awaited live events which have been missed by so many for what for them must seem like an eternity.

The stage is set

EW Production Services Ltd are based in Rye on the Atlas Industrial Park at Rye Harbour. A leading event management company supplying full production facilities for live events including staging, power, lighting and audio equipment which is also available to hire across the UK and Europe.

Hastings Reggae Festival, 2021

They have recently supplied full technical production for the Hastings Reggae Festival 2021 and on August 7 staged the Southern Sunset Festival (with Craig David headlining) at the Oval in Hastings despite very challenging weather conditions. Both events were very well attended and a great success, expertly managed by Michael Byrne, EWP project manager and ably assisted by Bradley Cave plus a highly professional team of 25 technicians.
