Throughout March, local charity, The Sara Lee Trust,  is holding its annual Therapy Month to help fund essential care and to raise awareness of how counselling and therapy can improve lives by having a positive impact on health and well-being.
Their aim, through this campaign is to raise £2,500 to provide care for an additional 25 local people affected by cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, which The Rye Retreat have very kindly pledged to raise for the Trust.
Jenny Webb at The Rye Retreat said: “We are offering 50 one-hour appointments throughout March. You can book for either a cut and blow-dry, 60-minute facial, or a 60-minute massage for the reduced rate of £50 – with all of the money going directly to The Sara Lee Trust.”
The Rye Retreat, which is in Cinque Ports Street, is also holding a raffle to raise funds for the Trust with a prize that is worth more than £500! Tickets are £1 each and are available from the salon.
To book your appointment, please call The Rye Retreat on 01797 222211 and quote “Sara Lee Appointment”.
There are also many other local therapists and counsellors who are participating in the Trust’s Therapy Month. Go online for the full list of practitioners.
