Bring your children aged three to 11 along for outdoor adventures themed around coastal wildlife and the changing seasons with Sussex Wildlife Trust.

Group Leader Lucy Bowyer said: “By exploring the reserve with strandline treasure hunts, playing games, bird watching, pond dipping, and minibeast hunting, the children will get to know their local wildlife and find out how to help it thrive.

Nothing so satisfying as sawing up wood

“Children are encouraged to tackle hands-on tasks and work co-operatively with others, providing an opportunity to gain a sense of achievement while developing social skills, building confidence and having a lot of fun.”

Nature Tots weekly family fun sessions for ages three to five run from 10am-12 noon at Rye Bay on Wednesday mornings during school term time. Wildlife Watch nature and beachcraft sessions for ages five to 11 run once a month on Saturday mornings at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.

Now booking for September. Children must be accompanied by an adult and booking is essential. For further information and to book online please visit: www.sussexwildlifetrust.org.uk/naturetots or www.sussexwildlifetrust.org.uk/wildlifewatch or email Lucy at: lucybowyer@sussexwt.org.uk
