The Rye and District Country Show is returning for 2017 and includes the chance to win a new car in its amazing raffle.
The show will take place on Saturday August 19 at Elm Tree Farm, Icklesham (on the A259). Jenny Yeo and her hardworking committee are very grateful to Kit McLean and Phil Merricks for lending their land once again for this fantastic family day out.
There is a wealth of entertainment planned, including traditional horse and dog shows, classic cars, country crafts, food and drink, a Country Living marquee, a silent auction, children’s games, live entertainment and much more.
There is also a fantastic raffle with a chance to win many wonderful prizes including the first prize of a brand new Citroen C1 car. Raffle tickets are now available for sale in St Michael’s retail shops and other outlets. You may also see the committee popping up at venues around Hastings and Rother throughout July and early August with tickets on sale.
With more than 150 classic cars booked already, apply quickly if you’d like to bring your classic. Applications forms and horse and dog schedules can be downloaded from the Hospice website for this exciting event. Organisers hope everyone will come along to this wonderful day out packed full of fun in aid of St Michael’s Hospice.
