Winchelsea Arts will be presenting a range of seasonal music focusing on secular traditions, not least that of wassailing this Saturday, December 18, at 4pm.

Ann Rachlin and the Pegasus Chamber Choir, conducted by Mathew Altham, are set to provide a wonderful festive performance, from wassailing apples to Christmas plum pudding, inside a candlelit St Thomas’ church, Winchelsea.

From Decking the Halls to Holly and the Ivy, there are songs and carols to cheer everyone, and with a special hot apple punch being served on arrival, what’s not to like?

The organisers are aware of the latest Covid guidelines and visitors will be asked to wear a face-covering and take a lateral flow test no more than 48 hours before attending.
