The Sara Lee Trust’s Snowflake Campaign has returned for its second year and the charity is inviting everyone to get involved and support their work.

The Snowflake Campaign offers residents the chance to write a festive message on a snowflake, in exchange for a donation to the Trust. The snowflakes will be on display in various stores around Hastings, Bexhill and Rye until December 31.

Nikki Hawes, Fundraising Assistant for the Sara Lee Trust said: “The Snowflake Campaign is a paperless green solution for not sending cards and giving the cost of cards to a local charity. We would love to be able to fill Hastings, Bexhill and Rye with magical displays of snowflakes to raise money for the care and support of local people living with cancer and other life threatening illnesses.”

If you would like to write a festive message on a snowflake, please visit The Golden Fleece, 16 Lion Street in Rye or Hastings Information Centre. Please visit the Trust’s website for a full list of snowflake stores.

You can also request a snowflake pack by emailing nikkihawes@saraleetrust.org or calling 01424 420 264 and you can also take part online by visiting the Trust’s website , where further information on the trust is available.

Many schools and businesses will be having their own snowflake display. If you would like to create your own display in your school, college or workplace, please contact the Trust who will send you a free pack.

Every snowflake donation received will contribute directly to the provision of care for local people in need – so please support The Snowflake Campaign.

The Sara Lee Trust provides specialist counselling, complementary therapies and creative therapies to people in Hastings and Rother living through cancer and other life threatening illnesses; with support for their families and carers.
