Rye Crib League finished all their matches before the pubs and club were asked to close with the following results:

The Pipemakers team topped the A league with eight matches won and three drawn.

Rye Harbour Social Club were runners up as they also won eight matches and drew three, but won five fewer games than the Pipemakers.

For the second year running the Waterworks came bottom winning only one match all season.

The B league was won by the Bonny Cravat at Woodchurch who only lost one match all season. The runners up place was a close call between Camber Castle and the Inkerman Arms but the honours went to Camber Castle who won four more games.

At the end of this year’s season, the league held a singles competition at the Rose and Crown in Beckley, with forty players taking part.

The final was between Grant Floyd from the Bonny Cravat and Jeff Robus of Rye Harbour Social Club and Jeff had a good run of cards to beat Grant in two straight legs.
