Playing their third consecutive away game Icklesham Casuals had a disappointing weekend going down 4-0 to West Hill United.

Despite missing a number of players, the Casuals matched their opponents in a first half which was something of a stalemate with no real chances for either side, but within 5 minutes of the restart Icklesham found themselves 3-0 down with West Hill scoring through Dan Wilkes, Tyler Smith and Ryan Southall. It was not long before West Hill went 4-0 up thanks to a Conor Loake strike. A couple of the goals came from crosses which found their way into the net.

The Casuals rallied towards the end looking for a way back into the game and created a few half chance which could not be converted.

This Saturday the side returns to Icklesham for a league match against Parkfield while on Sunday the veterans visit Battle Baptist in the Hastings FA Veterans League with a 2pm kick-off.
