Icklesham Casuals suffered a fourth successive defeat when they went down 4-2 at home to West Hill United last Saturday in their East Sussex League Division Four fixture.

In difficult conditions the Casuals got off to the worst possible start finding themselves 2-0 down early on before hitting back with goals from Leon Pettit and Lee Pierce to leave the match tied at 2-2 at the interval.

The second period was also an even contest with both teams creating chances and it was West Hill who took theirs while Icklesham failed to convert their opportunities. West Hill went back in front in the opening ten minutes of the second half and made the game safe with 15 minutes remaining, when they broke away to score after an Icklesham attack. George Barrow struck the bar for the Casuals with the score at 3-2 and also just failed with another opening when he fired over the bar.

Icklesham are without a fixture this Saturday.
