In an even match, Hastings Rangers took the lead after 37 minutes following some sloppy defending at a corner. The equaliser came in the 70th minute when Steffan Davies finished off a good move with a low left foot shot and a long ball forward from Val Newman was headed on by Joe Fraser for Phil Badrock to put the Casuals ahead in the 83rd minute.

Hastings Rangers came back strongly and levelled from a twice-taken penalty in extra time with a draw being a fair result.

On Tuesday May 3 Icklesham’s 1st team travelled away to face Eastbourne Athletic in their final game of the season.

Eastbourne started brightly with Scott Aley scoring 2 goals in the first 25 minutes of the first half giving Eastbourne a 2-0 half time lead. They extended their lead just after the break, through Will Brooke. Joseph Fraser pulled one back for Icklesham in the 66th minute, Brooke added a 4th in the 71st minute before Adam Sully pulled another goal back for Icklesham in the 75th minute. Brooke completed his hat trick in the 82nd minute for Eastbourne. The game finished Icklesham Casuals 2, Eastbourne Athletic 5.
