Icklesham Casuals were in cup action last Saturday, November 9, when they took on Northiam III at home in the 1st round of the East Sussex League Divisions Four and Five Cup, and went a goal down when Northiam scored with a long range shot. This woke the Casuals up and they responded with a strike from Lee Pierce to leave the tie level at the interval.

The home side started the second half really well creating a number of chances with Phil Badrock converting two of them and Solly Cooke netting another to take the score to 4-1. Northiam reduced the deficit before Badrock completed his hat-trick in the last ten minutes for a 5-2 victory. The reward is an away tie with either Herstmonceux II or Magham Down in the next round.

Adam Sully took the Helenswood Sports Centre Man of the Match award.

The Casuals have a league fixture this Saturday when they take on Sedlescombe Rangers III at Bexhill Road.
